Greatly inspired by the water deity Yemoja, Lanna Zita offers a chance to discover the rhythms and songs of Brazil. Deeply rooted in the history of this huge country, her music takes listeners on a journey, beyond clichés and across the seas. From samba to ciranda, and choro to xote, discover various figures, such as the "malandro" carioca or the huge Lia de Itamaracá. In November 2014, singer Lanna Zita was awarded the third Edison Carneiro Prize, in the category ’Cultural promotion outside of Brazil’.
