Over the past thirty years, the extraordinary ensemble Percussions Claviers de Lyon has successfully built a career playing for audiences in France and around the world, demonstrating the potential of percussion with a unique combination of marimbas, vibraphones and xylophones. In Caleidoscópio, an original creation where written and oral music unite around a Brazilian spirit, the five percussionists meet an iconic batucada: Zalindê. Based in Paris, this all-female ensemble, with its infectious rhythms, as well as a strong sense of staging and choreography, is widely acclaimed. The Festival has commissioned Brazilian composer Michelle Agnès Magalhaes to create a work specifically for the two ensembles. This outstanding collaboration is a feast for the eyes and ears, offering a kaleidoscope of creativity and emotions.
