Thus Spoke Zarathustra... Steeped in the philosophy and poetry of the prophet, Franco-Iranian singer Ariana Vafadari brings life and a voice back to his ancestral writings, while evoking Anahita, an Iranian goddess of water, fertility and wisdom. Following an outstanding career as an international classical soloist, Ariana has made a return to oriental mysticism. Accompanied by talented musicians from very varied musical backgrounds, this musical creation, born of her meeting with Leili Anvar, an expert in Persian literature, features scenes sung in Persian and French, a poem by Rûmî, Zoroastrian prayers, and even two masterpieces by Monteverdi. It is an enchanting and lively performance, offering tastes of the Orient with its chants and incantations.
