The Gong Kebyar Balinese gamelan played by the Bintang Tiga group of 25 musicians and dancers from around the Paca region produces an extraordinarily rich sound. In Indonesia, the gamelan is a 'sacred' collective instrument made up of metal percussion instruments (gongs, metallophones, xylophones and drums).
Bintang Tiga introduces us to the traditional repertoire of this instrument-cum-orchestra and the kecak dance, which originated from purifying possession rites. This fascinating spectacle which reveals a glimpse of the essence of Balinese culture is suitable for all the family.
