Contes balinais « comment la musique sauve les céréales et les victimes de l'Ogre du temps ? »

Rencontres scolaires autour du gamelan balinais

A Balinese gamelan performing music and masked dance

The Gong Kebyar Balinese gamelan played by the Bintang Tiga group of 25 musicians and dancers from around the Paca region produces an extraordinarily rich sound. In Indonesia, the gamelan is a 'sacred' collective instrument made up of metal percussion instruments (gongs, metallophones, xylophones and drums).
Bintang Tiga introduces us to the traditional repertoire of this instrument-cum-orchestra and the kecak dance, which originated from purifying possession rites. This fascinating spectacle which reveals a glimpse of the essence of Balinese culture is suitable for all the family.

Co-accueil CIMN et Communauté de Communes de Bièvre-Liers, avec la complicité d’Orféo et du conservatoire de Voiron.
