The associated sounds of a made-up war
Good Bye Schlöndorff is an audiovisual performance comprising a mixture of stories and unidentified sounds recorded on audio cassettes found in Beirut, musical compositions, shrill melodies and extracts from the film Circle of Deceit, shot by German film-maker Volker Schlöndorff in a city in the middle of a civil war. A revealing insight into war-torn Lebanon in the 1980s.
