The remarkable domains of vocal music
The composer Thierry Machuel has devoted most of his career to choral art, drawing inspiration from both religious themes and works by contemporary authors in a variety of languages. In collaboration with the Grenoble Regional Education Authority, Les Détours de Babel presents a lecture concert aimed at lycée students featuring the works in the 2013 music baccalauréat, plus a concert for the general public featuring more than 100 singers, soloists and choir members from lycées in Grenoble and Annecy.
